My Naked 2 Palette Routine

If you know me you'll know how much I love my Naked 2 Palette. I include this treasure in many of my favourites and wear it almost everyday. It's extremely special to me. Today I'm going to go through a step by step routine showing you how I create my signature smokey eye and which colours I use within this palette.

To start with I use the primer that comes with the product. It's only a small packet of different types but they last hell of a long time and really do the job. I'm definitely investing in one soon. I only use a small amount which is all you need and rub it into my lids. It really stops the eye shadow from sinking into and rubbing off.

I then use my first colour 'Tease' and apply it all over my lid. I've always been the type of person to use my fingers when applying eye shadow but I do use the eye brush that comes with the product as well to make sure my lids are covered.

Next, I apply the colour 'Snakebite' to the corners of my eye lids and blend it upwards. This is a shade lighter then the dark shadow I use for the crease of my eye lids so it blends in better and looks more natural.

Once that's blended in I apply the shadow 'Busted' with an angled eye brush into the crease of my eyes and blend that upwards then downwards and towards the end of my eyelids into the 'Snakebite' shade. This is what creates the main effect of my smokey eye.

Finally, with the same shade 'Busted' I apply the colour on the bottom line of my eyes with a thin eye brush and blend it in to give it a smudged effect. I use a brown eye pencil over the top to sustain the colour and then add a couple of coats of mascara to finish it. I apply a medium line of black eyeliner on my top lid and give it a cat flick and finish that off with a couple of coats of mascara too. And that's my smokey eye complete!

So that's how I use my Naked 2 Palette and which colours I prefer using. Of course everyone's different and uses different shades which is totally understandable as there's so many to choose from!

If you do have this palette and aren't sure how to use it or want to try a new look then give it a go and see how it looks on you. If you use these colours too or have a different way of using the palette then let me know in the comments below. I love hearing new ways!
