Review: Rimmel London BB Cream 9-in-1 Skin Perfecting Super-Makeup

Hey guys!

Today I'm going to be reviewing the new BB Cream 9-in-1 Skin Perfecting Super Makeup by Rimmel London.

To start with, I love the tube and the packaging. It's an easy squeezy tube which let's you control the amount you use and the detailing on the packaging is very precise. I decided on using the VERY LIGHT shade as my skins quite pale. (And I didn't want to come out looking like a barbie doll. Although I have brown hair... but you get what I mean).

The cream didn't have a bad smell to it at all and was quite subtle (I don't like products that have a strong scent). I also had to use my fingers to rub in the cream which I really hate. I seriously need to get some new makeup brushes. (Added to the Christmas list).

The only problem I found at first was the blending in. It took quite a while. The first time I used the cream I started with a small amount to be on the safe side but it didn't really do much for my skin. When I tried it the second time, I put way too much on and it came on a bit thick. You need to get that in-between I think. Once I applied my face powder over the top my skin looked really clear although their were some flaky parts around my nose. That was fixed with a bit moisturizer though.

The last problem I had was durability. The product didn't seem to last long as I have oily skin frequently and the cream started to come off. That was quite disappointing as this was my first ever BB Cream. The product retails at about £6.99 which isn't too bad for that brand I suppose and you can get it from Boots and Superdrug.

I don't know if I will buy this product again but I do think I'm going to try a different one next time.

What do you think of this product? Have you used it before?

Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time!
