The Liebster Award Nomination

I just woke up and I went to check my emails when I noticed I had a notification on my comments section. I was pretty intrigued to see what it was so I checked it out and when I did I noticed I received Liebster Award...



Here's some main info

• It is not a competition. It is more like a chain letter, forwarded between small-time bloggers in order to give them some recognition and so everyone can discover some amazing blogs that have been over-looked.

• The word “liebster” is German and has several definitions: dearest, sweetest, kindest, nicest, beloved, valued & more.

• This is a small but great thing to receive, so breaking the chain would be really rude and that's not what the blogging community is about. 

I got nominated by the lovely All Is Good blog and I want to give you a big thank you as I've never received one of these before and I'm extremely happy you chose me!

Why did you start your blog?

I've always been a fashion-inspired girl since I was young so the idea of having my own fashion blog sounded amazing. English has always been a favourite subject of mine since primary school as well, so it made sense to give it a go.

What has been your favourite blog post to write?

My favourite post to write so far has to be either my debut LCM one or a collaboration I did with a makeup blogger ages ago. It was so much fun mixing my ideas with someone else and creating something even better. But going to your first LCM is even more exciting. So probably that one.

What are some of your favourite brands?

Ooh I have lot of favourite brands but my top ones would have to be Forever 21, Boohoo.com, Missguided.com and New Look. I quite like Topshop as well.

QUICK! You're late... you have your phone, keys and purse.. what other 3 things do you need?

Okay, so firstly lipstick or lip gloss because I always need one on me. Secondly, a mirror to check my makeup and help apply my lipstick or lip gloss. And thirdly, my earphones because I love listening to music on the bus or in the car.

How many pairs of shoes do you own?

I honestly don't know the accurate amount but I'm guessing around 8 pairs for the winter. I buy a new pair each season so they slowly mount up.

What is a habit you need to break?

Biting my nails! It's an awful habit and ruins the chance of getting my nails done because there's nothing to be done. It's rather irritating.

Favourite piece of clothing?

My leather jacket! I love all things leather so my jackets like my baby.

What is something you really want to buy... but you're still unsure?

I'm sure whether to buy the L'Oreal Magique Eau De Teint or not because apparently it's hard to use. I really love the look of it though and I've heard good things about the actual foundation so I'm still not sure!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?

Hopefully as a successful fashion journalist or working for a magazine company. I've had some online experience so hopefully my dreams will come true and my hard work will pay off. I may even find a partner and settle down. You never know what the future holds.

What is your least favourite thing about blogging?

I can't really find a thing I hate doing because it's so much fun and I really enjoy doing it. So my least favourite thing would have to be gaining the followers. It's extremely hard starting from nothing, like most bloggers would know, and getting a good amount of followers takes time and patience which is quite hard to master sometimes.

What is your favourite thing about blogging?

My most favourite thing about blogging is probably when a reader sends me a nice comment or shares my post. It really makes me happy inside and helps me to continue writing. I love the support I get from not only friends but other bloggers you don't really know. There's always a few that comes back or even some secret readers and for that I want to give them all a huge thank you. And a big thank you for nominating me for this award!
