what's in my makeup bag?

(Today I was hoovering and this blog post idea hit me instantly. I havn't done one of these before so I'm quite excited to share it. Just thought I'd add this in. Enjoy!)

So today I'm going to be discussing what's in my makeup bag. Yes. My own personal makeup bag.

You can use this post as your own makeup inspiration or you can just have a nosey at what I keep hidden in there. So feel free to be as nosey as you like!



1. Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. I know I talk about this product a lot and you hear reviews from it everywhere so I don't really need to say any more. That's just one of the things you'll find in my makeup bag.





2. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I use this underneath my eyeshadow everytime I wear it and I absolutely love it. It definitely does the job.

3. L'Oreal True Match Powder. I love this product! I use it as my foundation as I've never really worn foundation that much. I am investing in one soon, however, so keep an eye out for that. I'll hopefully do a review on it once I've used it a few times.

4. 2true eyeliner in black. This is my favourite eyeliner at the moment. The application is so easy as the nib is a good size and the length of the stick is very long. The price is amazing as well. A definite favourite.

5. NYC Central Park Pink blusher. This is my favourite blusher that I got a couple of years ago and I love it. The colour is very soft and subtle and gives my cheeks a rosy glow.

6. Collection 2000 Little Mix lipstick: Perrie. This is featured in my 'Beauty Spotlight' post as you may know (check it out if you havn't!) where I kind-of review it and just have a little discussion about it.

7. Clean & Clear spot gel. I only use this when I get those pesky spots that appear randomly. I've had it for ages and it does wonders for my skin. Best spot gel ever to me. Definitely recommend it.

8. Calvin Klein Clear Rose. This is another lipstick I have in pink. I don't really use it much though as its too bright for me but I keep it there just in case.

9. A random eyebrow pencil/attached brush (previously wrote attacked by mistake. Woops). This is so old the brand name has worn out on the actual stick and the pencil is so short it got stuck in the cap. HOWEVER, the brush really comes in handy as I don't currently have any other eyebrow brushes so that's why I mainly use it.

10. Nivea cream. I use this for my face if I only cleanse with a wipe which seems to dry out my skin quite quickly.

11. Compact mirror. I got this from Forever21 and I don't really use it much. One because I can't always open it. Two I have a much bigger mirror. But I do use it in my bag sometimes!

12. Calvin Klein Lip Creams in Rose and Rich&Famous. I don't really use these products either but they do give my lips a nice subtle colour when I do. I should use them more often to be honest...

13. Coloured eye pencils in blue and green. 80's much? I usually use these in summer sometimes to give my eyes a bit of colour if I fancy it. The brands I have right now is Rimmel and MaxFactor. I'm not sure why they're in there at the moment really.

14. ANOTHER eyeliner pen in black called B Dramatic. I don't really use this either and I'm not really impressed with it as well. I keep it there for makeup emergencies. You never know when your favourite eyeliner might run out.

15. Colours Unlimited Bronzer. I hardly wear bronzer as I just don't have the cheekbones for it. I do keep it in there though if I want to add a tad of colour to my face.

So that's about it for now. They are the main 15 items that are currently sitting in my makeup bag. Of course its going to change either at the end of this year or next year so I'll definitely do an update on it when I think the time is right.
