Maybelline Colour Sensation Hollywood Red

I'm a huge fan of lipsticks so when I got this new one this month I was pretty excited to try it out. The colour turned out to be quite subtle but darker on my lips which I really loved. I also found this lipstick really complimented a natural eye and blended in with my pale skin tone really well. The lipstick comes in a cute red-tinted case which gives it a professional look. The lipstick itself is extremely moisturising on the lips and lasts extremely well. I tested it out many times during eating and found it never came of that much. I also really liked the scent- it didn't have a chemical type of smell to it. I'm very impressed with this product and would love to try out some of the other colours in that range. I definitely recommend them to anyone whose looking to try a new collection. They're definitely a colour sensation! 

The power of Lipstick

Hey guys!

Today I tried a whole new lipstick colour which was different compared to what I usually wear. I wasn't sure whether to wear it or not at first but in the end I thought 'whatever I'm gonna do this' so I felt pretty excited to try it (I'm sad, I know).

Earlier, I was wandering through M&S and I kept looking in those big mirrors to see what my new lipstick looked like on me (not in a vain way) and it made me feel pretty confident. It then made me realise how powerful makeup can make you feel. Especially Lipstick. It really complimented my whole makeup look and finished it off.

So don't worry if you're not sure whether to wear that lipstick shade or that eyeshadow colour. Just give it a go and if you didn't rock it then maybe it's just not for you. It's surprising how many colours can actually suit you. You just need to find the right ones!

If you're a brunette like me and have bluey green eyes than purple looks REALLY good with a brown smokey eye. I know it sounds extremely strange but give it a go, you never know!

Beauty Spotlight| LM Lipstick

Hey guys!

So today I'm going to be discussing my favourite beauty item at this moment in time and shining the spotlight on what I love about it.

Firstly, my chosen product is a lipstick and its a very unique purple/pink colour lipstick. The lipstick is from Collection 2000 in the Little Mix range, shade: Perrie (because apparently she's now a lipstick shade).

I first heard about this product from my best friend who is a massive Little Mix fan. At first I was skeptical about it but when she showed me the product I was like 'oh my gosh I've always wanted a purple lipstick' because as you can tell from previous posts it is my favourite colour.

I went to Superdrug and I brought the lipstick. I didn't mind if it was by Little Mix or god knows who because I absolutely loved the colour of it and the price was fantastic. When I got home after a wonderful day out I tried the lipstick on. And I loved it. I loved it so much I had to show my mum. It was the product I've been searching for but not brave enough to try.

Now I've tried it I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions of I've made in my life. Okay, so maybe not thaat dramatic, but I'm so glad I brought this product.

So if you're searching for something like I was then I definitely recommend this lipstick.Not everyone will find the colour appealing or complementing as its quite a bold colour so just give it a go and see what you think.
